What is new this week? 10/27/2023

Check my weekly blog to have an update on the real estate market in Las Vegas as well as what I, Jennyfer, have been up to during these times!

Let's start with the numbers 🔢

1. The inventory increased this week!

Although the inventory is still considered low, this past week we saw a slight increase in the weekly available listings in the Las Vegas Area, per GLVAR MLS totaling 5,898 on Monday 10/23/2023.

2. There are more houses with price reductions.

With the current interest rates increasing, the sellers are doing anything in their power to attract buyers to buy their house. We saw a few more properties with price reductions. Now, this doesn't mean they're slashing their prices in half, just seeing a few thousand dollars reductions.

3. Interest rates: TUN-TUN-TUNNNN

Spooky season is upon us, and the interest rates are getting into the Halloween spirit. They have reached a national average of 7.79%, per Freddie Mac. But don't worry, Jennyfer and her team of lenders will not let the interest rates get in the way of your goal to become a homeowner!

And what has Jennyfer been up to?

1. 2508 Winwood St was SOLD at listing price!

Jennyfer had a listing that closed this week! 2508 Winwood St SOLD in less than month since getting under contract at list price! This wasn't any regular listing because Jenny was actually one of the sellers. It was a flip home and the sellers contributed with $3,500 towards the buyer's closing costs. Congratulations to the new homeowners!

2. Las Patronas talk about scary stories: Title Edition

Las Patronas: Jennyfer Poveda and lender Andrea Fernandez were getting into the Halloween spirit and teamed up for their Friday Facebook Live with a title officer, David Castillo to talk about the things you should watch out for the title of a house.
